Destination Iguassu is culturally very rich. Besides being a trinational region, there are several ethnic groups that live harmoniously here. There are centuries of history that begin with the Guarani indigenous culture, transposing generations and influences of other peoples.
In Foz do Iguaçu it is possible to live historical experiences, as in Itaipu Binacional’s Ecomuseum, which goes beyond the history of the construction of the hydroelectric powerplant and reconstructs moments of the region's past.
Crossing the Friendship Bridge, which connects Brazil to Paraguay, we can have access to some museums, one of which stands out. Located in a Paraguayan forest reserve, bordering the Paraná River, is the Museo Moisés Bertoni, which tells the story of this research who discovered stevia.
