Arts & Culture
Destination Iguassu is multicultural and allows for pleasant surprises as one goes through its streets. There are several ethnicities that compose a unique characteristic. There are typical neighborhoods and shops, where we can have close and usual contact with people who came from other countries and settled here.
In some busy downtown streets, it is common to come across small performances by Peruvian and Chilean singers, and by Argentine and Paraguayan urban artists.
In addition to moments of art and intercultural contacts, the various cultures stand out in gastronomy and religion. An example is the area where the Muslim Mosque is located in Foz do Iguaçu, an Arab neighborhood, with typical pastry shops, stores, houses and restaurants.
