About Visit Iguassu

Visit Iguassu was created in 2007. It is a non-profit and non-partisan institution whose purpose is to promote the Destination Iguassu and attract more leisure and event tourists. It is maintained by members of the local tourism trade, with more than 150 companies from Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil), Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay).

Mission
Promote the touristic, economic and social development of Foz do Iguaçu and the region through actions aimed at increasing tourism demand and generating business opportunities for members.

Organizational structure and departments

Executive Board
Directs, plans, organizes and controls the activities of the company’s departments. In line with strategic planning, it identifies opportunities, assesses the viability, and makes recommendations on new investments or on new business development.

Projects
It plans the execution and monitors the established scope and progress of the routines in order to meet the goals, deadlines and costs established by Visit Iguassu in its projects. It is responsible for the administration and monitoring of partnerships.

Events
It aims at increasing tourist flow, generating business opportunities for members through prospecting and hosting events.

Visitors
It promotes actions to increase tourist flow and to generate business opportunities for members by promoting the city of Foz do Iguaçu as a leisure destination.

Relationship
Responsible for attracting, maintaining and attention to members.

Administrative and Financial
Responsible for managing resources and investments, it performs the activities necessary to maintain the operation of the institution.

Communication
It plans and executes communication and marketing strategies aimed at Visit Iguassu's and its associates’ various target audiences. It is also responsible for the communication with the press.
